Our Practice Care Centre provides support and enablement to our practices across Canada, to better serve our clients and patients, and to take care of our talented
medical teams.

Management Team

Andrew is devoted to helping practice owners realize their transition goals, cultivating a dedicated team, and ensuring our hospitals deliver quality patient and client care. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Adam is the CFO at VetCare and leads the finance and corporate development teams. Prior to VetCare, Adam worked for 15 years in professional services advising a broad variety of clients on valuation and financial matters.

Lori Anne has 20+ years of progressive experience in People and Culture roles, with significant experience in high growth businesses. A proud Mom to 5 children and 2 cats, she loves spending time with her family and pets in her spare time!

Julien leads our corporate finance team and works closely with practice owners to ensure a smooth transition. Julien holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from HEC Montreal.

Dragana leads the regional managers across Canada with on-going direction and coaching to ensure our veterinary teams are focused on delivering excellent patient and client care. She shares her life with Lilly, a tiny Terrier X, Oskar the cat.

Albert brings over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field to this role. He seeks to continually excel in medicine, surgery and communications. He enjoys running, biking, music and camping with his wife and their Sheltie.

Kevin, with the help of his dachshund, Louie, runs the Legal function at VetCare. Kevin’s background is in corporate/ commercial law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions. He loves helping to guide clinic acquisitions.

Brian Smith is our IT Manager responsible for both Corporate and Practice environments. He has almost 30 years experience in a number of industries and has a strong commitment to customer support and making IT work for our employees.

Medical Team

Dr. Krista Nelson graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2000. Since that time, she has practiced general and emergency medicine in the Greater Toronto Area. In 2022 she became a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the specialty area of canine and feline practice.

A 2013 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Craig has worked in various roles to promote wellness and disease prevention in pets. When he’s not caring for animals, he loves to spend time in the great outdoors!

Mikaela is a marketing and communications professional with a passion for creating relatable content that resonates with target audiences. She graduated with a Business Degree from the University of Calgary and has a kitty named Puddin’ with a mustache.
